My 4-year-old loves mermaids and wanted an under the sea room. Here’s my loose interpretation! (I didn’t want waves, fish, etc.)

Here are some of the details:
The toy box was a DIY project, and so was the headboard.
The bedding is from Land of Nod, but I got it on eBay for less than half the LON cost. The fish pillow was in a clearance bin at Home Goods for 9 bucks! It matches perfectly! The curtain above her bed was a DIY project that started at Ikea.

The dresser and mirror are both Criagslist finds!

Did you notice the details on the mirror? Those are hand painted mermaid knobs from Etsy seller LeilasLoft ($7 each):

And since she loves Ariel, I had to paint her a redhead mermaid (who’s holding a letter G). Her tail sparkles with scrapbooking jewel stickers:
